Our trip so far has been absolutely amazing. Kayaking on the Ottawa River and visiting Niagara Falls were big highlights. The night at Niagara Falls was one that I will never forget, having dinner right beside one of the seven wonders of the world was amazing, and finishing off the night with a great display of fire works was the icing on the cake. The races so far have also been great as they have been run smoothly thanks to all the helpful volunteers. The venues have been great for warming us up to big races at Wausau.
(From Andy...we found a guy who has repaired paddles like new and he's on a mission to fix ours. Anna subluxed her shoulder this afternoon in the sticky hole late in the course. We're waiting till the morning to see how bad it is. Tonight we had a visit from Corrie who worked as a doctor in Alex, she bought more food (she had left tons for us on our arrival already) and stayed for the evening catching up with everyone).

Well done Marcus..great that you have written on the blog.....maybe one of the other lads turn tomorrow.
Andy, sounds great that you were able to track down a fibreglassing expert. Fantastic. Cheers, MarkJ
Hi all Sorry to hear about Anna's shoulder I hope it is not too bad.
Things are hotting up for the race here in leipzig, lots of tents going up. Had accreditations and scrutineering today. Lots to report on BV's.
Sounds like you guys are in luxury compared to us. We have an old commie apartment with an oven with rusty elements. At 4.30am some homeless person who sleeps in the bus shelter outside my window starts preaching in a very loud voice for an hour and then the trams start. It is day light until 10pm so a very short sleep but having lots of fun but Oh to be in the luxury again of the junior team.
Hope the racing is great this weekend. Cheers and good luck
